The Loughborough Orchestra is an amateur orchestra of around 40 members who meet weekly to play
music in an informal and enjoyable atmosphere. Players come from Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire
and Derbyshire with concerts held in Loughborough and surrounding villages. The
orchestra plays two or three public concerts each year, of late eighteenth to
early twentieth century music, including a winter concert in January and a
summer concert in May or June.
